DemonTHON is a year-long fundraising organization benefiting Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago that culminates in a 24-hour student-run Dance Marathon every spring. Throughout the duration of the year, DemonTHON hosts events on campus and throughout the City of Chicago that engage students at DePaul University and families that are being treated at Lurie Children’s.

For The Kids!
When Skye was an infant she was diagnosed with a sensory-neuro hearing loss, meaning she was 100% deaf and her mother, Cheryl, was told she had no hope of ever hearing again. The Carter family was sent to Children’s to see some of the best specialists for her condition. At 20 months old, Skye received a cochlear implant in one ear, and she received an implant in her second ear at seven years old. Today, Skye is attending school and is involved in many school activities. Her mother, Cheryl is so thankful for the cochlear implant because, without it, Skye would have to attend the school for the deaf and she would only be able to see her on the weekends. Instead, Skye has the opportunity to live a full life at home with her family.
