Taylor Cochran is a singer/songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. Armed with a smoke stinted guitar found in a local pawnshop, he taught himself to play guitar with the “Idiot’s Guide to Playing Guitar” at the age of fourteen. After many broken strings and while searching for inspiration, Taylor moved to Chicago, served with YoungLife, and traveled to rural communities in Central America and South East Asia. It was through this Christian youth ministry and these experiences that he found his faith and a love for understanding the heart of people.

Taylor pursued his songwriting career in early 2013 by gaining experience playing in local bars, venues, and with his church. The mission of his music has been made present in his writing and performances. He aspires to send a message of joy, hope, and love back to the roots where he found it — on a pew in his old church, playing soccer with children in rural communities abroad, and with friends eager to live a life filled with purpose and adventure.

Taylor's Debut EP Kickstarter campaign was successfully funded on April 17th. Taylor is recording with producer Stephen Gause who has worked alongside artists such as Dave Barnes, Matt Wertz, Andrew Ripp, and Nathan Angelo. Stay tuned for the release of the EP!
