Events

DemonTHON hosts events on campus and throughout the City of Chicago that engage students at DePaul University and families that are being treated at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. Attending any of our events is the easiest way to get involved, meet new people, and have fun!

 

Dancers

Our dancers are the core of the DemonTHON experience. Registering as a dancer for our Big Event is an experience you truly won't forget. After 24 hours of being on your feet and listening to all of the inspirational stories of how Lurie Children’s hospital has helped all of our miracle families, you will look back at all of your hard work and know that it was worth it!

 

Volunteers

As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to join the team and help us out at our Big Event - we need all the help we can get! If you aren't able to attend the entirety of our Big Event, volunteering is great way to still experience the fun on the best day of the year.

 

Morale Captains

Morale Captains are responsible for keeping dancers enthusiastic throughout the year and during the Big Event. A morale captain is someone who is personable, outgoing, reliable, creative, energetic, and able to engage with his or her fellow students and families from the hospital. Morale Captains are the heart and soul of DemonTHON!

 

Committee

DemonTHON's committee works year round to create and foster a truly inspirational event that honors the patients and families of Lurie Children's Hospital. It is a commitment to something greater than our individual experiences at DePaul University. Committee applications open shortly after the Big Event every year - we strongly encourage you to apply!

After graduation, you still have a unique opportunity to stay involved with our DM family! If you had a meaningful experience with DemonTHON, consider joining our Alumni network. We host special events for our alums, and we would love for you to take part!
