Volunteers

As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to join the team and help us out at our Big Event - we need all the help we can get! If you aren't able to attend the entirety of our Big Event, volunteering is great way to still experience the fun on the best day of the year.

How to Volunteer

Volunteer registration for DemonTHON is currently closed, but you can email our Volunteer Coordinator at demonthon.volunteer@gmail.com if you are interested.

 

 

Volunteer Responsibilities

As a volunteer you'll have an opportunity to join the team and help in one of the many ways below!

 

Dancer Relations

     - Guest check-in before event

     - Guest check-out after event

     - General admission check-in and check-out during event

 

Catering

     - Setting up food

     - Serving food to dancers

     - Cleaning up food and eating area

     - Directing traffic during meal times

     - Ensuring eligible people (i.e. dancers) eat at designated times throughout the event

 

Event Management

     - Keep all areas clean of garbage during the entire event

     - Refill water jugs for dancers, morale captains, and overall committee

     - Assist in various other projects per the request of the Event Management Directors

 

Family Relations

     - Ensure family room is clean and decorations look nice and maintained

     - Change out table centerpieces for theme hours

     - Greet families as they enter the event and notify Family Relations Directors of their arrival

     - Distribute t-shirts to all family members

     - Spend time with family members while they are present in the family room

 

Set Up and Tear Down

     - Assist the Overall Committee and production company in event set up and tear down
